PBE-M5-300-ISO is a suitable device for PtP connections with an antenna gain of 22dBi from the M5 series, which achieves very high transmission speeds and a stable connection even in noisy environments.
It is fully compatible with older products from the M5 series and is of course intended for outdoor use.
Thanks to the possible setting of the channel width of 5/8/10/20/30 and 40MHz, a real throughput of up to 150Mbps+ can be achieved. Inside the PowerBeam is a powerful Atheros 74KC MIPS processor with a frequency of 560MHz, which is supported by 64MB of DDR2 type operating memory and 8MB of Flash memory.
The network port supports 10/100 Ethernet and the unit can be powered via the passive PoE 24V/0.5A adapter included in the package (active PoE according to 802.3af is not supported). Thanks to the innovative mechanical design, the antenna has a more robust holder, collar and a metal-plated plastic part for attaching the radiator. All maximally tuned for even better signal/noise ratio in highly noisy areas. The biggest advantage of any airMAX device is, in addition to the high transmission speed thanks to the 802.11n standard, the use of TDMA time multiplex. The airMAX TDMA protocol enables excellent scalability and high throughput while maintaining low latencies in PtMP networks.
