Tenda O9 is a wireless outdoor Wi-Fi CPE unit with support for many AP/Station/WISP/P2MP/WDS Repeater/Router modes, it supports the 802.11a/n/ac standard in the 5 GHz band with a speed of up to 867 Mb/s. It contains 1x Gigabit LAN port, supports passive PoE power supply or power adapter (power switch and adapter are included). VPN Pass-Through, SSID Isolation, DDNS, DHCP, Transparent Bridge, VLAN tagging SSID, and other technologies. Tenda O9 is suitable for ISPs for providing and further dissemination of the Internet, as well as for security IT for connecting cameras, etc. Tenda O9 supports many types of security 64/128 WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA & WPA2-PSK, WPA, WPA2, the ability to disable wireless network name (SSID), VLAN for each SSID, output power settings, and many other premium network functions. Point to Point, Point to MultiPoint Tenda O9 supports six operating modes
– Access Point – In this mode, the O9 is connected to the network via an Ethernet cable and transmits the wireless network.
– Station – O9 connects to the WiFi network and provides connectivity for the LAN port it contains, for connecting other devices via cable. Yes ther WiFi network is no longer broadcasting.
– WISP – Client + Router – using this mode, O9 connects to the WiFi network (WISP station/hotspot), separates the provider network from the local network using routing, and creates a home WiFi network with its own DHCP server. It also shares this local connectivity to its LAN port.
– P2MP – Point To MultiPoint – this one station communicates with several other stations in different locations, also called PMP, PtMP.
– WDS Repeater – Wireless Distribution System Repeater – WiFi signal repetition in the WDS system, the first router or AP is set in the WDS repetition mode, Tenda O9 will connect to this device in the same mode.
– Router – standard router with DHCP server support Smart signal indicator
