The TR-004U USB 3.0 RAID Expansion Unit enables the expansion of the QNAP NAS and computer storage capacity. The TR-004U can also be used as a Direct Attached Storage (DAS) device, allowing direct access to content via USB connection. The TR-004U includes four 3.5 “SATA drives with multiple RAID configurations and USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity for a highly reliable and secure storage expansion solution. USB 3.0 Type-C port for faster data transfer. Supports up to four SATA drives for reliable read/write performance. DIP mode switch to switch between hardware and software control configurations for RAID settings. Lockable hard drive slots to prevent accidental disc removal. Users can configure RAID and monitor disk status with Storage Manager and QNAP NAS snapshots. Can be used to add QNAP NAS storage space, serves as hardware-based RAID storage, and offers a comprehensive file-sharing platform for users. The TR-004U supports a variety of RAID configurations. Depending on your requirements, you can switch between hardware and software controlled RAID modes. Move the DIP switch to the appropriate position for the ideal RAID mode: Standalone, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1/10, or RAID 5. You can configure RAID settings directly from QNAP NAS or using the external RAID management tool on your computer.
