The lightweight and portable QNAP QNA-UC5G1T USB 3.0 – 5GbE adapter allows you to add an additional network port to your computer or QNAP NAS device. The QNA-UC5G1T supports 5 GbE/ 2.5 GbE/ 1 GbE/100 MbE connections and is especially useful for laptops that do not have native Ethernet connectivity. Some manufacturers tend to leave out Ethernet ports in an effort to make laptops thinner and lighter. With the QNA-UC5G1T, you can upgrade your notebook to support 5GbE RJ45 Ethernet connectivity and enjoy high-speed network connections. The QNA-UC5G1T product offers a quick and easy way to expand the network connectivity of your QNAP NAS device. You can connect multiple QNA-UC5G1T adapters to a NAS device and manage them together with other network ports in the Network and Virtual Switch application. QNAP provides a wide range of network devices to help both business and home users upgrade their network infrastructure to meet increasing bandwidth demands. The QNA-UC5G1T can be combined with other devices such as a QNAP 10GbE switch to create a budget-friendly high-speed network environment to enhance the performance of various work and entertainment applications. Simply connect the QNA-UC5G1T adapter to your computer with the supplied USB 3.0 Type-C to Type-A cable (Type-C to Type-C cable can also be used – sold separately) and connect the adapter to the 10GbE/ 5GbE/ 2.5G/ 1 switch GbE (eg QNAP 10GbE switch), NAS or other device using an RJ45 LAN cable. It has a metal, light-conceived cover that fits perfectly with other devices. It does not require any additional power supply and is easily portable for general deployment. Fanless design with shallow grooves ensures efficient heat dissipation.
