Dual-band wireless access point with remote management Manufacturer website link: Function The WAC505 access point offers a high-quality Wi-Fi connection that eliminates dead zones. The device is equipped with the Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac and Wave 2 and MU-MIMO technologies providing a combined speed of up to 1.2 Gb/s (300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and 867 Mb/s in the 5 GHz frequency band). Wide Wi-Fi signal coverage is provided by a pair of internal 3dBi and 6dBi antennas. The access point can be installed very easily and quickly, and further managed and monitored via the NETGEAR Insight mobile application. The WAC505 supports wireless connection of up to 200 users simultaneously and also includes two Ethernet ports (1 ? Gigabit PoE LAN and 1 ? WAN). The security of the access point is ensured by WPA and WPA2 encryption, a list of MAC addresses for authorized access or 4 BSSIDs per frequency band.
