At first glance, the new Chateau is very similar to previous models. We had a fantastic launch of LTE18 with our partners from LMT – Latvia leading mobile operator. Our Chateau has replaced the usual brands – and client satisfaction has skyrocketed. Most users appreciated the increased speed and stability, as well as the number of useful features of RouterOS and overall flexibility. And let not forget the elegant look that fits anywhere – from traditional homes and luxury residences to modern office and corporate environments. The next obvious step in the Chateau series was the improvement of the wireless functions. Thanks to the 6th generation 802.11ax wireless standard and Wave 2 support, the Chateau LTE18 ax can offer unprecedented speed. If we compare it to the previous generation, we have up to 40% faster speed in the 5 GHz band and up to 90% faster speed in the 2.4 GHz spectrum! We’ve made massive improvements to the wireless radio and antennas. Chateau LTE18 ax supports MIMO 4×4 in the LTE network. There are 4 built-in LTE antennas and 2 optional external network antennas for exceptional coverage throughout your home! Ports also had to adapt to such speeds. We kept the four Gigabit Ethernet ports and added a 2.5Gigabit Ethernet port on top. And let not forget the USB, which can come in handy for data storage purposes. A modern quad-core processor running at 1.8 GHz combined with a solid GB of RAM is quite a blast when it comes to demanding operations such as complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, using multiple threads or experimenting with advanced RouterOS features.
