? Basic traffic shaping It is part of the GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network) concept of Mikrotik as a more economical alternative to GPON installations. GPEN21 is designed for installation directly at the customer installation site at the home WiFi router mediating connectivity.
GPEN21 thus mediates the power supply of the ISP router/switch installed externally on the building via PoE. GPEN21 has an Ethernet and SFP port for connecting optics.
You can choose to deploy GPEN21 in the form of an uplink power supply to the provider optical module, or provide PoE to power the provider Ethernet uplink (using the GPeR/netPower product line). Mounting allows installation on a wall or in a cabinet (included in the K-62 kit). Technical Specifications:
