The DAP-1360 can be upgraded by uploading custom firmware created using the Software Development Kit *. This allows programmers to take full advantage of 2MB of flash memory and 16MB of SDRAM to complement sophisticated features of their choice. An important feature of the DAP-1360 is also robust security, which ensures that users can always connect securely to the network. 64/128-bit WEP encryption and WPA/WPA2 security are available to protect user networks and wireless data. The device also supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) technology, which allows users to set up wireless security at the touch of a button. Other features to prevent unwanted access to your home or office network are MAC address filtering and network name blocking (SSID). In addition, the DAP-1360 comes with the D-Link Click’n Connect Setup Wizard, localized in 18 languages, which allows easy installation and configuration of the device.
