The?Comica Audio CVM-R3?combines a phone clamp with a hand grip and an arm for mounting two audio and/or lighting accessories to your smartphone, including shotgun microphones, wireless receivers, or LED lights (all available separately). It enables you to create your own portable smartphone video rig, great for improving the quality of your work when shooting/streaming at home or on the go.
With its smooth all-metal finish and antislip silicone grip, the 4.8″ handle is comfortable to hold. The handle screws on the phone clamp and if using a second accessory, you can screw the included arm between the handle and the clamp. This modular design allows for easy storage and installation.
You can quickly adjust the clamp to accommodate phones 1.9 to 3.6″ wide. A shoemount sits on top of the clamp for holding your accessories above the phone. The shoemount features a rotatable design, which allows you to direct your mic or light toward your subject. There is also a cold shoe adapter at the end of the arm to hold an additional accessory.
For convenience, you’ll find a 1/4″-20 thread at the bottom of the handle for mounting your rig on a tripod. Both cold shoes on the clamp and arm offer a 1/4″-20 thread for mounting accessories that do not have a cold shoe.
