The?Tascam CD-400U?is a 1 RU CD/SD/USB player with Bluetooth and AM/FM radio designed to provide versatile media playback and recording for educators, system installers, A/V technicians, and audio engineers in schools, concert venues, houses of worship, and stores. Its CD player supports standard CD, CD-R, and CD-RW disc types and the built-in Bluetooth receiver allows wireless playback of music from mobile devices. Play MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV files via an SD/SDHC card or USB flash drive or patch your preferred audio playback device into the 3.5mm aux input. Utilize the included antennas for the AM/FM radio as an alternative to your personal music library.

Record signal from the CD player or radio to a USB flash drive or SD/SDHC card. XLR and RCA outputs enable easy connection to a mixer or PA system, and the 1/4″ stereo headphone jack with a dedicated level control offers effective monitoring. For transport functions and play modes, the front panel features a host of buttons, which can be disabled via the “Panel Lock” function. Other control options include the supplied wireless remote and RS-232 remote (available separately).
